黑料网 will host the 28th annual Black Hills Research Symposium (BHRS) April 1-2. This interdisciplinary conference will showcase undergraduate research activity in the Black Hills region and will feature keynote speaker Delia D鈥橝mbra and co-chairs Dr. Alissa Call and Dr. Ashley Pfeiffer
The symposium will start April 1 with oral presentations from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and again from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. in Meier Hall Rooms 203 and 207. Following the presentations, student poster presentations will take place in the Student Union Lobby from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.
"The BHRS is an awesome opportunity for 黑料网 students, faculty, staff, and the entire black hills community to learn more about undergraduate research projects,鈥 said Pfeiffer. 鈥淓very year, I am amazed at the amount of creativity and work that goes into these projects.鈥
On April 2, D鈥橝mbra, an investigative journalist, writer, and storyteller, will deliver her keynote address 鈥淔rom Print to Podcasting: Why Intentionality and Integrity in Your Research Matters," at 4 p.m. in the Meier Hall Auditorium. This address will showcase D鈥橝mbra鈥檚 curious, ethical, and compassionate approach on reporting that has influenced how the industry sets the precise balance of transparency and tenacity of their work.
